CBS Casts Jonny Lee Miller as Sherlock Holmes In Their Upcoming Television Show, Elementary
Ironically, Miller starred alongside Benedict Cumberbatch in the theatre play, Frankenstein, with both men alternating the roles of Victor Frankenstein and the monster. Cumberbatch has soared to worldwide fame playing Sherlock Holmes in the BBC sensation, Sherlock.
So basically, CBS was like “Hmm…we should pick an actor who’s similar to Benedict so that MAYBE the American Sherlockians will like Elementary! But what actor could we pick? …Miller played the same roles Benedict did in Frankenstein…LET’S PICK HIM!” So y’all think this would draw in the THOUSANDS of American Sherlockians? Guess what, CBS?
CBS, STOP RUINING THINGS!
